I am thankful for patient kind people that allow me to ask questions and to learn from them without being unkind.

Amy in FloridaGirl Schmuckhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08220013488567162354noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9175362385039466640.post-86896933518941856162011-12-05T21:14:06.668-05:002011-12-05T21:14:06.668-05:00I said over on C's blog - you'll never win...I said over on C's blog - you'll never win an argument with a crazy person. :-)Scott K. That's what has really struck me in all of this. I'm a little jumpy when it comes to medical professionals & my diabetes...this has just served to heighten that insecurity. Her supportive buddies are manic-depressive, approval seeking chumps. All it takes is reading through THEIR blogs for a second or two, to sift through the BS. Hers was not the blog post of a person in disagreement; it was the blog post of a jaded individual, hiding behind their veil of "why can't I be the one getting all the attention, boo hoo, I have been diagnosed just as long... and look my A1C... here's the awards everyone ELSE has given me... where are my stars and cookies... boo hoo..." Kerri just happened to be the week's unfortunate victim of choice. This person does not deserve ANY blog posts from anyone in our community, much less yours; unmentioned or not.Lizmarihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07807048593487676705noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9175362385039466640.post-26302650028488748122011-12-05T12:02:05.864-05:002011-12-05T12:02:05.864-05:00You are so right! And why do some people continue to believe that one size fits all in diabetes management. It is undoubtably more difficult for some than others, not because they're not as good at it, or not as educated, but because everyone's body is different. Some people cannot get a 5.8 A1c without dangerous lows, some can. Diabetes treats everyone differently. Thank you for your words. It wasn't even constructive criticism; it was a downright attack from the start.
