Well, It's November 14th, World Diabetes Day- A day when every person with diabetes raises awareness of diabetes globally, regardless of their country, continent or religion.
It's a day where we wear blue and wave our diabetes freak flags and spread the gospel according to D!
We celebrate living and Doctors Banting and Best, while continuing to raise money and awareness for a diabetes cure.
We celebrate who we are and who we hope to become, and we celebrate others, including our diabetes brothers and sisters and our diabetes pit crew, who support and love us- broken pancreases and all!
So raise your voices loud and proud and bust those diabetes myths while perpetuating diabetes realities!
Show the world that diabetes has millions of different faces, including your own.
