Insulin is not a cure for diabetes; it is a treatment.
It enables the diabetic to burn sufficient carbohydrates, so that proteins and fats may be added to the diet in sufficient quantities to provide energy for the economic burdens of life.

I hadn't read that before.
Thanks!

Just wanted to say
THANK YOU
Because of you
I made an appointment with an endocrinologist.
I have lost 15 pounds, exercise daily and have got off my blood pressure medication.
My Endo was awesome. Great bedside manner. I had one as a teenager b/c of PCOS and HATED it.
Now I am taking responsiblity and going to live healthy.
Thanks Kelly for speaking up to all of us with our head up our ass pretending we have to just accept doom.
Type 2 for seven years.
