Diabetesalicious Giveaway: Get In The Swing Of Spring With A CVS Grab Bag!

So the folks at CVS/pharmacy ExtraCare Advantage for Diabetes have once again (remember the December giveaway?) agreed to give 3 Diabetesaliciousness readers the opportunity to win a Spring grab bag of sorts and we came up with some things that could help us get into the swing of Spring.
Things like sunscreen (because Spring means more time outdoors, which means you need to wear sunscreen) ; tissues & eye drops, (spring means allergies,) a needle disposal kit, (no explination needed) glucose tabs and LEVEL Life Glucose Gel ( for all those low blood sugars thanks to all the extra Spring workouts,) a CVS glucose meter, blister band-aids (because workouts can bring blisters) Eucerin,(diabetes is hard on the skin, so is the sun) and lastly, a 100 count box of Ketone Strips, because if you're anything like me, when I need to test for ketones, is about the time I realize that I need to actually go out and buy ketone strips.

CVS Spring Grab Bag
How To Enter: leave a comment on the blog ( until midnight tonight) saying why you'd like to win and how you're getting into the full Spring of things. And tomorrow I'll post the three winners names. Yep, it's that easy!

GOOD LUCK & ENJOY!

Full Disclosure: CVS gave me the above grab bag free of charge.

I would love to win because I probably need most of the stuff in that grab bag, but have no desire to go purchase... I'm getting into the full Spring of things with work on the house and landscaping outside. When I'm done with that I'll probably need the blister pads.

even though I've been a parent of a diabetic for more than a decade, this is my very first Spring with Type 1 myself :) to beginnings my T1D life and thinking SPRING!

I would love to win this grab bag! Who couldn't use a freshening up of their spring time necessities, especially while starting a garden for the first time in years. The blisters on the hands from the tools, and the extra sneezing from the weeds. Yup... that's my swinging into spring.

I would love to win this grab bag, as all of those items need a little "refreshing" at my house! Gifts like this also refresh the spirit!

I would surely love to win this for Sarah! Sarah has a trip next month to an amusement park with her school, given as a reward to kids with the best grades, and it will be her first time going on a daytrip without me. She will certainly need some sunscreen. I hope we don't need the ketone strips, but Sarah does have a tendency to get ketones when we go out of town - weird, huh!

Cool giveaway! Like the idea :-)
I am totally getting into the SWING OF SPRING by digging into the work of promoting my new T1D support group in our community! We have no (like as in NONE - ZERO - ZIP!!!) support, educational tools, awareness, information whatsoever in our community and I think it is time to change that! We have started this support group and had a FULL ROOM just last week! And there are many more exciting things in the works!! :-) Thanks for giving me the opportunity to share :-)
