Today's Giveaway: It's All About The Medi Pouch~

So I was spending some time on Etsy (OK, I was spending a couple of hours on Etsy, because lets face it, that’s what happens when you go on Etsy) and I came across PillowSewCute’s page, which was filled with really cute cases called Ouch Pouches & Medi Pouches - And of course I immediately thought: Diabetes Supplies.
So I reached out to Karen, the proprietor of PillowSewCute and the creator of the Ouch & Medi Pouches and offered to review her product for the blog and she agreed to donate a giveaway in the form of a Medipouch.
My MediPouch has 4 infusion sets, 4 Reservoirs, 1 vial of test strips,
1 AAA battery and a whole bunch lancets~
Why I like my Medi Pouch and What I Use It For:
I love the material on the Medi Pouch I picked out, it’s pretty and bright  - Kind of like me ;)
Honestly, I had a really difficult time choosing from all the Medi Pouches available, because there are so many Medi Pouch fabric designs to choose from. Whimsical fabrics for kids, solid colors verses patterns, vintage verses new fabric, etc.
When I received my Medi Pouch it included, bandaids, hand sanitizing gel and alcohol& handi wipes - Always appreciated and always needed.
I ordered the extra large Medi Pouch because I thought the 7X9 dimensions would hold several days of insulin pump supplies, a spare pump battery, backup test strips and more lancets than I’d use in 6 months - And it totally did.
I used my Medi Pouch last  weekend when I spent the weekend at a friend’s house &.
I LOVE the vinyl enclosure - LOVE IT - It's a hige plus in my book. WHY? Because being able to literally glance into my overnight bag and take inventory of my backup insulin pump supplies without having to dig through it gave me peace of mine.
I like flowers and butterflies, which is why I picked this Medi Pouch~
Currently, I'm leaving my Medi Pouch in my car in the passenger seat's back pocket, so I always have supplies in my car, just incase I forget back up supplies in my handbag.
When the warmer months come around, I will of course take out the test strips and the extra pump battery if they're still in there. Heat does not mix well with test strips or batteries.

PillowSewCute has generously donated today’s prize, one extra large 7X9 Medi Pouch ( a $15.95 value) of your choice as today’s Diabetesalicious giveaway!

All you need to do is leave a comment as to why you’d like to win today’s giveaway.
This week's winners are picked via random.org & will be announced here on the blog Friday morning.
**To enter the giveaway, you must have diabetes (doesn't matter the type,) or a caretaker/loved one of a person with diabetes.
GOOD LUCK!

I'd love a pouch to keep my back-up supplies a little more neatly at my desk at work! :) Thanks for posting about this great Etsy shop and for the giveaway!!

So cute! I think Lauren would love this -- I just got her a very fancy work briefcase since she's almost a grown up -- she could tuck this in it!

This would be amazing to take with me as we travel, especially when it is out of the country! Easy to find in my bottomless pit carry-on bag :)

So adorable! I've been meaning to sew one for myself, but have been too lazy. :(

Oh so cute! I've been using a Clinique gift bag forever, it's cute but a little small and definitely wearing and tearing. So I would love a new MediPouch! Thanks for doing this k2!

I would love it for my daughter Olivia. She was dx 7/29/13 and has been so brave and I am just so proud of her.

I would love this for my son Paul to carry his supplies at school!

That would be so handy for travel! Right now I use a much less durable gallon ziploc bag. It would be so easy to throw that in the carry on or duffle when going somewhere.

I would love to have one to carry my 11yr old. He is only 8 months in to this. He is my HERO. It would help us out a lot

I would like this because I currently use some pencil cases I got at Target and they are getting ratty.....

Between work and school I am constantly transferring things from a purse to a tote bag to a backpack and I sometimes leave things behind that I need. I'd love this pouch as an easy way to keep all my D supplies together and just have to move ONE thing from bag to bag!

I would like this because other than the fact today is my birthday :), I have been on the search for a pouch to organize my pump + meter supplies. I am a pharmacy student in my last year hoping that I can get involved with diabetes management with my career-ironically, it is tough stuff to both manage diabetes while being in a health professions major. Hoping to stay more organized!

A pouch to carry it all?! I have a travel one for my suitcase, but let's face it, that just doesn't always work in the purse. This MediPouch would be perfect.

Last month when I was diagnosed at 25 I went from carrying a slim gift card case as a wallet and my keys connected to my belt loop to carrying a purse every where I go everyday. I would love to win a great bag for my new normal.

The fabric on the one you chose is so cute! I would love one of these nifty little pouches for my extra pump supplies on the go.

I would love to win this bag for all my backup pump supplies I carry around in my purse and car. It would be wonderful to have everything in one case.

Just the other night I was thinking about how I need a real bag - ziploc bags for emergency change kits aren't really cutting it anymore! :) I always had carried my blue medtronic bag with my emergency change kit and extra supplies. From 1999 until just a few months ago when I switched pumps. Not that I can't use the bag with this pump, I certainly can, but I just can't part with everything that's in that bag that I no longer need. :( This is super cute!

I would love to have this, my son is 11 diagnosed almost 3 years ago with t1, and he always has his supplies at school, and on his backpack but I'm a freak and always carry some in my purse so this bag will come in handy for me!

This would be such a welcome change from our standard black pouch!
