Insulin pump JeanJams & Zipps - Pumpwear.com |
Look, I love accessories for all types of reasons.
They're fun and they can spruce up not only your outfit, but how you feel on the inside about what your wearing, including your insulin pump.
I don't know about you, but I think of my insulin pump as a robotic extension of myself because I wear it almost 24 hours a day,365 days a year.
But with that being said, I, (and by I, of course I mean WE) still need to change up our insulin pump looks every now and then - And those diabetes accessories need to not only be functional, they need to be pleasing to the eye - And that's where Pumpwear products come in to play.
Their website is filled with lots of styling insulin pump accessories,(for boys and girls, mean and women) plus other diabetes accessories like bags, meter cases and insulin pen sleeves. Check them out!

Oh how pretty and fun. I hate diabetes. I hate that all three of my kids have diabetes. I hate that when I take my kids shopping for new pants it isn't as simple as pulling off and on clothes to try on. There is always the damn tubing for pumps, the clips that grab onto waist bands and the skinny tees with the pump bump on the side. Its the frustration I see in my kids faces and hear in their mumblings when they are fighting with their diabetes tech. These cute little accessories won't make diabetes go away. They won't stop all the frustrations and under the breath curses. But maybe they would make some things that are meant to be fun like buying new clothes a bit less frustrating at least for one of my three.
I love that there are designers out there at pump wear that get how sometimes being bionacle is a pain in the ass and they try to make it a bit prettier. good luck to all and thanks Kelly for the opportunity.
These cases are awesome to help my teen have a better day while styling with a fashion accessory. My teen loves the local Orlando parks but hates carrying a bag. These would help her be more like her friends will she carries all she needs to care for herself. She would love these and would help make her Christmas more special.
My daughter is 8 years old and in the 3rd grade. And she's the only T1D at her school. She is asked constantly about the pump and tubing clipped to her waist. She keeps asking for cool ways to wear it, but we hadn't found anything she truly loved until seeing these! She has even asked Santa for a set. She could carry her supplies and pump...and look awesome wearing them!
I am always looking for new ways to make me love wearing my bionic body parts!
Purrrty! I like to jazz up my hardware w/stuff like this..makes it less boring.
I'm posting for My Jesse, cause he would look so cute with a paisley pump pouch :)
I really am a case nut! I have many cases and such for my other tech, and these are so nice! I would like to win a set and who knows? If I absolutely LOVE them I will order more. Yes, I am the Imelda Marcos od accessories. :-)
I'd love to make it easier to put my pump and sensor in a place that's available quickly when I'm driving about and can't really take my eyes off the road.
Because I wear my pump constantly & have no desire to take a break, stylish accessories are very important to me. These cases are so cute and would make wearing the pump just look a little better.
I like those little pouches! On the day-to-day I don't really mind my pump clipped to my belt, but when I go climbing, I am never sure where to put the freaking thing where it won't get scratched up. I bet one of those hanging off my harness would work really well.
K would love these!!! Can't have enough diabetes accessories in my opinion! ~ Ivy
I seriously love the patterns on these Pumpwear accessories! I tend to just clip my pump to my bra, but these look like much more "uplifting" and accessible alternatives.
Awesome! We love PumpWear and my 10 yr old daughter definitely loves to accessorize her D life :)
I have never heard of these, they are so cute! My 12 year old would love them for her pump!
This would be wonderful to win. Cara owns only 2 pump pack and they are from a few years ago. To say they're looking "used" is an understatement! ! I want Cara to feel confident and comfortable in all aspects of diabetes and looking stylish is getting more and more important as she gets older. I don't want her to try and hide diabetes because her pump pouch is ragged. This would make her so happy to win!! Fingers crossed :)
These look awesome! I don't currently own any stylish pump holders, but I sure would love to. I use a black strip of Velcro to secure the pump on my bra, but this would be a great way to integrate my pump into my outfits that would still look cute!
These look cute! I need something other than the utilitarian clip holster for my pump. I think this would add a bit more style !
I think my t1 9 year old would love this because she's tired of wearing a pump belt. They also look like they come with the cute jeans !
These cases look awesome. I would love one for my new pump.
Type 1 for 13 years, I would love one of these!!! My pump clip broke a few months ago and I have been searching for something to take it's place!
